Ronald Luneau, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on April 27, 2014. Ron was born on March 25, 1931 in Franklin, New Hampshire. He was the son of George F. and Laura Baker Luneau and the beloved brother of Jean, Donald, Robert (deceased), Aline, and Richard. In 1956, Ronald married the love of his life, Beverly Ann Breen of Jericho, Vermont. They were residents of Madison, Connecticut for over 50 years and loyal parishioners of St. Margarets Church in Madison. Ron served in the United States Navy from 1948-1952 and he was a veteran of the Korean War. He graduated Morse College in Hartford, Connecticut 6in 1954. He proudly served in the Hartford Police Department from 1954-1957. He then became a Connecticut State Trooper for over 30 years. One of his biggest joys was being a member of the Forensic Laboratory as a Certified Latent Fingerprint Examiner and diver during his tenure as a State Trooper. While he proudly served the State of Connecticut and his country, for Ron there was no greater love than caring for his family. He is survived by his wife Beverly. He will also be missed by his two children; his daughter, Karen Luneau Calabrese and her husband Dan Calabrese and their children Lindsey, Bobby, and Chris of Metuchen, New Jersey and his son, Kevin Luneau and his wife, Caryn, and their children, Nick, Tim, Evelyn and Sonya of Killingworth, Connecticut.
