Ronald "Ron" D. Meyers, age 70 of Toledo, Ohio died peacefully Monday, December 23, 2013 at his home surrounded by is loving family. He was born January 11, 1943 to Myron D. and Esther (Cole) Meyers and on July 3, 1960 he married Janet L. Huston in New Castle, PA. Ron was a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Cuban Crisis. A self employed "Work-A-Holic", he owned and operated A. Meyers Sewer Cleaning for 27 years until he suffered a stroke in 1996 rendering his left side paralyzed. During that 27 years, he also owned, managed and personally maintained 7 apartment rental buildings in downtown Toledo. Ron was a good provider for his family and he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Janet Meyers; sons, Jeffery (Lisa) Meyers, Gregory S. Meyers and Daniel Meyers; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Carol) Meyers as well as his sisters, Phyllis (Les) Stanton and Joyce (Stan) Baranowski. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Esther and his sister, Marilyn McLaughlin.
Family and friends will be received on Friday December 27, 2013 from 4:00-9:00 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Reynolds Corners Chapel, 5052 Dorr Street near Reynolds (419-535-0951) where funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy in Ron's name may do so to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

I have many memories of Ronnie like he and I went the auto hobby shop on base and did a valve job on 48 chevy. We would read the manual for each step. When we finished that it was on to the next. I have one regret. When we were discarged we disconnetced. Wasted all that vaaluable time
