READER, Ronald Nelson, May 15, 1917 to June 23, 2011. Ron passed away peacefully in his sleep at Westminster House in Surrey, BC. Survived by his daughters Carolyn (Everitt) Davis and Diane (Vic) Jones; granddaughter Keely (Don) Pacheco and great-grandchildren Mancer Brown, Olivia and Lola Pacheco. Predeceased by grandson Tyler Jones. After serving with the R.C.A.F. in WWII, Ron will be best remembered for his dedicated work with Canadian Kenworth and Paccar, his faithful participation in Rotary-wherever he was, contributions to his Condominium Council and his volunteer work with seniors. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831-28 Ave, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Rotary International or The Alzheimer Society of BC.
