Obituary

Ronald W. Reed,

68, passed away June 4th after a short unexpected illness. Born to Nellie and William Reed, Bakersfield, CA. Later he moved to Irvine where he owned Reedcorp, a successful engineering firm. He was highly regarded by his colleagues as an innovative and ethical professional. He took pride in his professional accomplishments but that was secondary to the pride he took in his family. He is survived by his son Michael Reed (Nancy), his daughters Lisa Smith (Bob) Keri Reed, Melody Stone (JP), Jenny Lynch (Bob), his grandchildren Jamie, Abbey, Logan and Gabby. His children describe him as a devoted and loving father who always made them laugh. Visitation will be Saturday, June 9th from 12-4 at Harbor Lawn in Costa Mesa.
