Ann, Michael and I have been out of town all week and were totally shocked when we saw the paper this morning. I hate that we saw it too late to pay our respects and attend his service. I hope you know how much you two are loved and respected. Running into Ron (always at Sam's, of course) was such a pleasure and always left us with a smile on our faces. My heart aches for you and your family. No finer man have I known. We love you and are praying for comfort and understanding.

So shocked and sorry to hear about my former classmate and friend. Back in the day at Sacred Heart Catholic School which we both attended, he was a great teammate, classmate, and loyal friend who as I now recall was just as humble then as he was later in life. I will miss him greatly and my deepest condolences to all of his family! The Rosary last night for him was touching.
