Mr. Rondah Howell Hardy, age 87 of Brooks, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at Brightmoor Nursing Center.
Mr. Hardy was born July 16, 1926. He was a life time member of Brooks United Methodist Church and a volunteer fireman for the city of Brooks for many years. He was a farmer for most of his life and worked for the Georgia Industry for the Blind for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howell Bartow Hardy and Louise Travis Hardy.
Survivors include brothers & sisters-in-law, Travis & Betty Hardy of Brooks, Al & Sue Hardy of Brooks Clive & Lori Hardy of Perry; sister & brother-in-law, Audrey & James Allen of Fayetteville and many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Rondah Howell Hardy will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brooks United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the County Line Christian Church Cemetery in Brooks. Mr. Hardy will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
