Ronny Dukes, 58, of League City, passed away on August 4, 2013. He was born in Valdosta, Georgia on February 22, 1955. Ronny graduated from Dobie High School in Pasadena, Texas. He was married to Beth Dukes on September 30, 1987. He had a career in retail management at Safeway and HEB. He was a member of the Alvin Rotary Club. Ronny was preceded in death by father Grady Dukes and sister Linda Gale Dukes. He is survived by his wife Beth Dukes; children Beth Lamb, Briana Stewart, Cara Schwandt, Aaron Schwandt, Samuel Schwandt; mother Helen Dukes; brother Bob Dukes and wife Teddy; uncles Larry Bradford and Don Bradford;...
Ronny Dukes, 58, of League City, passed away on August 4, 2013. He was born in Valdosta, Georgia on February 22, 1955. Ronny graduated from Dobie High School in Pasadena, Texas. He was married to Beth Dukes on September 30, 1987. He had a career in retail management at Safeway and HEB. He was a member of the Alvin Rotary Club.
Ronny was preceded in death by father Grady Dukes and sister Linda Gale Dukes. He is survived by his wife Beth Dukes; children Beth Lamb, Briana Stewart, Cara Schwandt, Aaron Schwandt, Samuel Schwandt; mother Helen Dukes; brother Bob Dukes and wife Teddy; uncles Larry Bradford and Don Bradford; brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law Denise and Billy Shelton, Mike and Joni Stewart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronny never met a stranger. He was generous and gave his love and time to his family. His constant smile, quick wit, and laugh will be missed by all.
Pall bearers: Aaron Schwandt, Samuel Schwandt, Kyle Dukes, Brian Dukes, Josh Hughey, and Rechha Long.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. Funeral service will be held Thursday, at 10:00 am on August 8, 2013.
