Rosa Mae Moran Alleman a native and resident of Lake, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the age of 90.
Rosa was a multi-talented lady, a fabulous cook, gardener, floral designer, seamstress and fashionista. Rosa loved collecting antique porcelain shoes. She and her husband enjoyed traveling with their best friends Ruby and Ninnie.
She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice "Blackie" Alleman; parents, Richard Dewey and Rosa Keller Moran; brothers, Wilfred Moran, Wilmon "Boy-Boy" Moran and Richard Dewey "By-June" Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra LaCour (Michael) and son Gerald Alleman; sister Winnie Bea Blank (Roy "Cokey"); sister in law, Hattie Bell Moran; grandchildren, Jennifer Braud (Scotty), Jeremy LaCour (Tori), Gregory Alleman; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Jesse, Olivia, Averie, Jace, Brant and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Sacred Heart Lake Chapel on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 9:00 am -11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow in Lake Cemetery.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Barbara, Cookie and Trish for the attention and care they showed Mrs. Rosa.
