Rosalie A. Keefer (75) of Attica, died Wednesday, September 04, 2013 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. She was born May 31, 1938 in Attica to the late Lewis A. and Ruth L. (Wrinkle) Lutz. Mrs. Keefer was employed at Heimlich Dairy Maid, R.R. Donnelley, Attica Cut Rate, waitress at the Hi-Ho in Willard and Hideaway Ceramics over the years. She was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church, Attica Senior Citizens, and active with the Community Giving Closet. Mrs. Keefer enjoyed being outside, bowling and making ceramics. Mrs. Keefer is survived by her husband: Bernard Keefer whom she married June 19, 1965. 2 sons: Gerald (Lynn) Cupp of Orange Park, FL and David (Trish) Keefer of Louisville, KY. 2 daughters: Marjory (Daniel) Gibson of Tiffin and Teresa (Clint) Smith of Attica. 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. 2 brothers: James Lutz of Columbus and Charles Lutz of FL and 1 sister: Susanne Overmier of Alvada, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Sean Wayne Keefer, sister: Martha Evens and brother: David Lutz.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Attica United Methodist Church with the Pastor Michael Padula officiating. Friends may call 1-3 P.M. Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica United Methodist Church, Seneca East Public Library or Community Giving Closet through the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica.
