She was funny and smart. She was loving and kind. But what I loved about her most was her love to talk. She could talk about anything. She fed me constantly and those meals were where we bonded most. She was an amazing gift from God and I will always be thankful for my great grandma; my nona.

Rosie, you are the yardstick by which I measure myself as a grandmother. If I can be half the Nona you were, I will be ok. Thank you for your example, your inspiration, your devotion and your love. Our family misses you so much, already. Please pray for us, we'll be praying for you.

Nona, you were the center of our world and I already miss you, your stories, your funnies but most of all the way you sat and intently listened to whatever I wanted to tell you. Thank you for the unconditional love and the priceless kitchen lessons. I will love and think about you everyday for the rest of my life. Christmas will never be the same with out you but you will be with us as we share in the delicacies that you taught us how to create God bless you sweet Nona!
