Rose Porcelli (nee Magnasco) of Oak Ridge, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Pine Acres in Madison at the age of 95.
Funeral Services will be conducted from the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Aveue in Livingston on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. The visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4-8 pm.
Born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Mary (nee Antola) and Angelo Magnasco, Rose lived in Newark and Belleville, before moving to Oak Ridge 20 years ago.
She spent 50 years working as a saleswoman for Macy's in Newark, retiring almost 25 years ago, but her passion in life was baking and gardening.
She is survived by her children Linda Bonora and husband Louis and Anthony Porcelli and wife Kathleen, grandchildren Toni Ann Porcelli and Keith Beyers, Lauren Sullivan and husband Neil, and Lisa Stone and husband Andrew, and great grandson Rafaele James Sullivan.
