Rose, age 88, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and best friend you could hope to have changed her place of residency on July 9, 2011 when she slipped peacefully in the to arms of our Lord. She was a lifelong resident of Fresno, living the past 20 years in Clovis.

Rose was born February 11, 1923 in Waukegan, Illinois to Durtad and Florence Russian. Having been orphaned prior to her teen years, Rose learned independence and perseverance early on. She cared for her siblings and family passionately while teaching each of them responsibility and acceptance.

Rose never met a person she didn't like. You could find her on most Friday's at her beauty shop where everyone enjoyed her pleasant personality and she enjoyed sharing her vast knowledge of life, having learned much of it the hard way! She loved reading and was always quick to share her thoughts about a book she had enjoyed. Her mind was incredibly sharp for a woman her age; one could listen to her stories for hours!

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Robinson and husband, David; son, Craig Agabashian, and wife, Terri; grandchildren, Brandon and Justin Robinson, Mikala, Kylee, and Katrina Agabashian, many nieces, nephews and numerous wonderful, loving friends. She was a great lady and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Rose was preceded in passing by both parents, all her siblings, her in-laws, and her husband, George.

Visitation is Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Lisle Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

A graveside service at Clovis District Cemetery on Friday, July 15, at 10:00 am.
