Rose Munster Mercier, a long time resident of St. Bernard parish, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2012 at the golden age of 94.Daughter of the late Peter Louis Munster ("Louie") & Mary Biggio Munster. The beloved wife of the late Frederick Louis Mercier, Sr. and loving mother to the late Frederick Louis Mercier Jr. and mother in law to the late Patricia Biggio Mercier. She was preceded in death by her brother Marion Munster and sister's Doris Munster Schoendorf and Yvonne Munster Bond. Rose is survived by her sister Gloria Munster Lechner; three grandchildren – Keith Mercier, Michelle Gallodoro, Nicole Kuhn and their husbands Bryan Gallodoro and Marcus Kuhn; four great-grandchildren – Bryan Gallodoro Jr. and his wife Emmy Gallodoro, Brandy Gallodoro, Ryan and Erica Kuhn; and two great-great grandchildren, Bryan III and Joshua Gallodoro. She will be deeply missed by her caregivers Ervin and Marlene Lee and the many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that meant so much to her.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St.; on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 12:00 pm.
