Rose Palo, age 81, entered into eternal rest peacefully while she was surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 21, 2014. Born in Partinico, Sicily, she came to the U.S. in 1958 and resided initially in Brooklyn, NY. She was a resident of Lakewood, NJ for the last 26 years. She was a devoted wife and dedicated mother of six children who were the love of her life. Rose was a gifted couture seamstress who worked for several years in her profession. Rose Palo, age 81, entered into eternal rest peacefully while she was surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 21, 2014. Born in Partinico, Sicily, she came to the U.S. in 1958 and resided initially in Brooklyn, NY. She was a resident of Lakewood, NJ for the last 26 years. She was a devoted wife and dedicated mother of six children who were the love of her life. Rose was a gifted couture seamstress who worked for several years in her profession. She was an exceptional woman with marvelous and natural talents. She took meticulous care with everything her loving hands touched. Her intentions always came from a pure and generous heart. All those that she encountered were drawn in by her gentle caring loving spirit and warm engaging smile. She will be remembered always by her loving family and friends, who will miss her excellent Sicilian cooking which was always prepared with love, and her natural flair for creating a beautiful home in which she loved to entertain. Rose was a romantic woman who loved music, dancing, and being the life of the party generating fun for all. Beloved wife of 27 years to the late Frank Palo; she is survived by her loving children, Anna Beyea and her husband Robert, Rosa Lombardo, Donny LoGaglio, Henry LoGaglio, Lydia Gladis and her husband James, Mary Lou Watkins and her husband AJ; her former husband and friend, Anthony LoGaglio; a beloved brother, Joseph Marino; and grandchildren, Christine her husband Sean, Lauren, Lydia Marie and her husband Daniel, Victoria Rose, Sam , Nicole, Taylor, Sarah and Christian; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Dominic's Church, 250 Old Squan Road, Brick, NJ 08724. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum in Toms River, NJ.
