Roselyn Ann Anderson, 82, passed away with family by her side on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. She was born in Stevens Point on October 20, 1931 to Lawrence and Mildred (Swanson) Nelson. Roselyn attended various schools and Jacobs High School in Stevens Point and was a graduate of Lakeshore Technical College where she obtained a degree as a paralegal.
She was employed for American Motors in Kenosha and Milwaukee until going to school to become a paralegal. She then furthered her employment at Attorney Bob Boerner's Sheboygan office until her retirement. Roselyn was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church in Eagle River until relocating to Sheboygan of which she became a member of Evangelical Free Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her kids, gardening/canning, reading, attending Bible Study, swimming, camping, sewing, and volunteering at Salvation Army. Roselyn was known as the only female speedboat racer on the Wisconsin and National circuits.
Roselyn is survived by three children, AnnaMae (David) Zabel, Bruce John Weber, Paulamaire Snowden; six grandchildren, Jason, Alicia, and Sarah Zabel, Daniel Weber, John Charles Fox, and Timothy Goodfellow; Roselyn's two beloved step-children, Paul Anderson and Sandy Goodfellow; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Lawrence John Weber and Gerald Anderson, and an infant son.
Funeral Services for Roselyn will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4th, 2013 at the Sheboygan Evangelical Free Church, 1710 N. 15th Street, Sheboygan with the Rev. Jon MacDonald officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
Roselyn's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Harmony Assisted Living and fourth floor nursing staff at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for the care and compassion shown to her in her time of need.
