OBERLANDER, ROSE MARY
Rose Mary G. Oberlander, 94, of Greenwich passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. She was born Rose Mary Harvey in Brooklyn, NY, to the late William P. Harvey and Gertrude D. Harvey. She is a graduate of the College of Mount St. Vincent, Riverdale, and St. John's University, where she received Master's degree in Library Sciences. She married the late Martin J. Oberlander on May 5, 1953. Over the past several years she was an active volunteer at The Greenwich Thrift Shop and St. Michael's Parish. Her daughter, Regina O. Cholnoky, survives her along with son-in-law Thomas V. Cholnoky, and two grandchildren TJ and Ryan. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Greenwich.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to aid those impacted by Super Storm Sandy.
