Roy Cline, 79, of West Peoria passed away at 12:08 pm Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Heddington Oaks of Peoria.
He was born March 24, 1938 in Ramsey, IL the son of Helen Cline. He married Betty Jackson on April 16, 1960. She preceded him in death on November 29, 1980. He later married G. Darlene Griffin on November 6, 1981 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on October 26, 2011.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Tracy Cline of Peoria; three step-sons, Joseph (Barb) Sills of Florida, Richard Sills of Peoria, and Larry Sills of Chillicothe; one step-daughter, Jackie Giddens of Bartonville; one brother, Vern Cline of Mt. Zion, IL; one sister, Mary Ann Hatfield of Mulberry Grove, IL; two grandchildren, Meredith Adams of Roanoke, and Mason Adams of Eureka; and several step-grandchildren and Step-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his mother; one step-son, Terrance Sills; and one sister, Charlotte Porter.
Roy was a Transit Operator for Austin Engineering until his retirement.
He loved fishing, and camping but most of all he loved being with family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
