Roy O. Blanchard, 94, of Ratliff, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at home. He was born June 17, 1920 to Frank and Hattie Davis Blanchard. He was a retired carpenter working for Memphis City Board of Education and a member of Mantachie Church of Christ. Mr. Blanchard was a US Army Air Corp Veteran of WW II.

Funeral services will be 3:30 pm Sunday, March 29, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Tony Brown officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Memphis.

He is survived by one daughter, Kathy McGee of Ratliff; one granddaughter, Lori (Robert) Barber of Ratliff; and four great grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Justin, and Lynsey Barber.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Blanchard.

Visitation will be 2:30-3:30 on Sunday March 29, 2015, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers make donations to Gentiva Hospice, 301B West College St, Booneville, MS 38829.
