My heart was saddened when I heard about the passing of Elder Roy Anderson. I have known Elder Anderson for over 30 years. We all were at Harrison Memorial COGIC. When I saw him, he always said there's my girl.He always had a smile on his face that was contagious and he always had kind things to say. My condolences to Sis. Anderson and his whole entire family. He is gone to take his rest, but he will never be forgotten. Till we meet again.

My heart breaks every time I think about you not being here with us. But I'm glad that you're not in any more pain. Grandpa was a true gem in my life. An awesome example of what it was to have genuine faith. I will miss your encouragements when I call the house. I will miss you calling me sweetie. I will most of all miss your hugs. I'm so glad I was able to spend time with you before you took your rest. I know you and my other Grandpa are having a great time up there! I love you!

I will always remember my loving Pastor with his smile and laughter that could light up a room, but most of all his prayers and words of encouragement for me during my ups and downs. I am really sad that you are unable to be here, but you are always here in spirit. You are in a better place now free of suffering and pain. I will always miss you Pastor and hopefully we will meet again one day. Love you always!

I will always remember the day I met my father-in-law. He immediately gave me a hug and accepted me into the family and treated me as one of his own. I also remember bringing my parents down one summer to meet both dad and mom. My father liked to make people laugh and Roy simply loved to laugh. My father told a joke and dad (Roy) roared with laughter. My parents never forgot that! I will miss his welcoming hugs and kisses and his truly warm heart.

The times that i spent with my Grandpa were always full of laughter and joy. I loved the way his laugh could fill a room and bring smiles to everyones face.
Grandpa loved his gardening so much. I can remember following him outside when i was a child and he would teach me about the different vegetables and we would watch the birds together-sometimes for hours!
My Grandpa Anderson will always have a special place in my heart. I love him dearly and I know he is watching over all of us.
