Roy J. Brown, 93 of Fort Smith passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014. He was born April 15, 1921 in Center Cross, AR to the late Arthur and Mary Brown. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and retired from Cargill. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ila Maxine Brown and a granddaughter Tina Eveld.
There will be a graveside service for Mr. Brown at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
Mr. Brown is survived by his daughter Thella Eveld of Ft. Smith, two sons: Paul Brown of Ozark and Mike Brown of Altus as well as seven Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and three Great, great Grandchildren.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Brown's passing. I always looked forward to visiting with him and seeing his smiling face when he came to our office. I know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Praying that God will comfort you during this difficult time.
