Ragley – Roy Lee Cook Jr., 77, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at his residence. Roy was born in Shreveport, LA and lived in Florien, LA prior to moving to Ragley. He was a member of Living Faith Fellowship Church. He worked as a piano technician, talented musician and played in numerous bands. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lolita Cook; one son, Michael Cook of Ragley; five brothers, James Cook, Ralph Cook, David Cook, Danny Cook, and Joe Don Cook all of Florien; two sisters, Carolyn Caldis and Sharon Calhoun both of Florien; four grandchildren, Ryan, Crystal,...

Roy was born in Shreveport, LA and lived in Florien, LA prior to moving to Ragley. He was a member of Living Faith Fellowship Church. He worked as a piano technician, talented musician and played in numerous bands. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lolita Cook; one son, Michael Cook of Ragley; five brothers, James Cook, Ralph Cook, David Cook, Danny Cook, and Joe Don Cook all of Florien; two sisters, Carolyn Caldis and Sharon Calhoun both of Florien; four grandchildren, Ryan, Crystal, Lacey and Samantha; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Grayson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Sr. and Opal Westfall Cook; son, Wayne Cook; brother, Harold Cook.
His Homegoing will be 10am Wednesday, August 28 in Living Faith Fellowship Church, Hwy 190, Ragley. The Rev. David Lilley will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-8pm Tuesday, August 27 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff and will resume 9-10am Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery, Ragley, LA.
