Ruben will be greatly missed by all the family. Mary Eva, Albert and Carl all gave wonderful care for him during his battle with Parkinson disease. He was an example of his Christain faith, living by the ten commandments. I never heard him say anything unkind or negative to anyone. He was a retired Navy man who served during WW11 with honors. He loved God and country. May you find comfort and peace in the many loving memories you hold in your hearts. May God's love comfort you during this time of sorrow.
Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4

"We all loved Uncle Ruben....always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile. So glad he is now with Jesus...no more suffering....free to get up and walk wherever he wants to! My heart hurts for Aunt Mary, Carl David and Albert, and all the rest of his loved ones. I know you will miss him so much, but so sweet to know where he is and that we will see him again. Life anew in another realm, in the presence of God. Such a blessing. Love to you all, Cathy Cunningham and Family

We are not saddened by Ruben's passing from this world because we know he is now rejoicing with the saints in heaven. A great honor was bestowed on us in knowing him and his lovely wife, Mary Eva. Their Christian lives was a perfect reflection of Christ. Our prayers are for his loved ones. May they receive comfort from the Spirit of the LORD.
