Ruby Aschelle Dudley, 84, of Covesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at her home.
Born on April 10, 1933, in New Orleans, she was the daughter of Paul A. and Angelina C. Hingle. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Hunter Dudley; and five brothers, Arnold, Joe, Louis, Sammy, and Burtney.
Left to cherish her memory include numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She will also be sorely missed by her cat, Andy.
Ruby was a member of Covesville Baptist Church. She worked at O Hill dining, Cove Creek Industries, and McClanahan Apple Shed.
A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at the Teague chapel.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

Lots and lots of great memories with Aunt Ruby. Loved, loved, loved the visit to New Orleans to see and meet her family and to learn appreciation for different cultures. Ruby was loads of fun and a very special person. She will be missed but now she's soaring with angels.

I remember ruth campbell, betty bennington, ruby dudley sitting in the yard at ruths, i would always wave at them on our way uo fan mountain. They were so cute. I miss seeing all of them.
