Ruby June Axson Ramos passed away at her home on Tuesday October 11, 2016. She was a native of Damascus, Virginia and moved to Texas in the 1950's. The daughter of Robert and California Mae Moorefield Axson was born November 12, 1931 the youngest of four sisters. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband; Ralph L. Ramos, son Robert A. Krenek, and grandson James Norris, Jr. She is survived by her four daughters; Cathy Krenek Hearnsberger and husband Kenneth, Rose Mary Krenek Norris and husband James, Tina Gordon Woodle and husband Alan, Susie Ramos Conerly and husband Jay, grandchildren; James Hearnsberger, Daniel Hearnsberger, Jerry Norris, Lisa Norris, Christina Winters, Matthew Conerly, and great granddaughter; Ashley Hearnsberger.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 14, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday October 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
Our family wishes to express thanks to the Altus Nurses and Aides for their loving care given to our mother.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Beaumont Chapter 700 North Beaumont, Texas, 77701, 833-1613 in honor of Mrs. Ramos.
