Memorial service for Ruby Mae Adams, 68, of Decatur will be today, July 11, 2014, at noon at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Doug Fields officiating.
Mrs. Adams, who died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at her residence, was born November 9, 1945. She loved to sew, cook bake and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a retired pharmacy technician. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Chase Adams.
Survivors include one son, Michael Gardner (Renee); one daughter, Donna Carol Shedd (Jason); two brothers, Billy McCray and John McCray; three sisters, Betty Putman, Doris Elbeery (Ray) and Patsy Christian (John); and five grandchildren, Zackery McCorkle, Carlie McCorkle, Latisha Garnett, Taylor Hartley and Justin Adams.
