His last few years in The Woodlands, he was a member of the Bullshooters Group, Senior Pals at the Catholic church, Neighborhood Men's Coffee and The Texas Czech Genealogical Society. In October 2011, he moved to an assisted living residence in Granbury up until his death.

I will truly miss my grandpa and just thought he would live forever. I am greatful that I got to share my life with him for 41 years. It will be strange not having him at family holidays and gatherings. I am happy that you are able to rekindle and dance with grandma eternally. Love, Heidi

Dad, what a wonderful Memorial Service yesterday ... you would have been so proud. What a wonderful life we celebrated. I will miss you so much. You were a good Dad and always there when I needed you. I do wish we had had one last dance together ... but I know you'll be dancing with Mom. I will see you both in my dreams. We have cherished memories of Grandpa Rudy and the time we spent with him on his visits to Minnesota (as well as his amazing 90th birthday party and pig roast in the The Woodlands). He lived such a long, wonderful and rich life, we celebrate his life but will miss him very much. His name lives on in our little boy...Gabriel Rudolph Jucha. God Bless You Grandpa Rudy.

Dear Family,
Our Dad says he and Jack Share picked Rudy up in a McDonald's restaurant and invited him to join their "Bull Gang," and the rest was history. They were so blessed to have each other's friendship in their later years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!
