Russell Wayne Roark, SR was born February 14, 1948. He took his flight without an airplane March 31, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Delores Ann Young Roark, his parents, Sewell and Bernice (Bowman) Roark; sisters, Cathleen Roark, Deborah Bolden; grandparents; brother-in-law, Theo Widner. He was saved in their home and joined Youngs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member until after Delores's death, he moved to Cave Springs Baptist Church where he had recently attended.
He is survived by his children: Lori Roark of Sevierville, TN
Rusty (Kym) Roark of Morristown, TN
Crystal (Steve) Fergerson of Tazewell, TN
Grandchildren: Kaylee and Zachary Roark of Morristown, TN
Reece and Riley Fergerson of Tazewell, TN
Brother: Carson (Karen) Roark of Tazewell, TN
Sisters: Mary (John) Bickford of Conyers, GA
Edna Widner of Tazewell, TN
Sue Ella (James) Cheek of Bellevue, Ohio
Kathy (Rudy) Love of Norwalk, Ohio
Tammy (Greg) Carter of Sharps Chapel, TN
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday April 2, 2015 from 6 until 9 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral service 1:00 P.M. Friday April 3, 2015 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Hurst-Evans Cemetery.
