Ruth Virginia Engvalson, 91, of Fort Myers, widow of Willard (Bill) Engvalson, passed away on March 28, 2015.
Ruth spent her early life in Los Angeles, her working years in Chicago, and retired to Bonita Springs in 1974. Ruth enjoyed animals, especially her beloved dogs and cats, singing in the church choir, and movies from the 1930's. Most of all she loved time spent with her family, and cooking and baking for them.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Kenneth) Ryan and Kinley (Carolyn) Engvalson, a step-son, Paul Ingvaldsen; grandchildren, Jennifer Cunha, Robert (Jenny) Engvalson, Timothy (Kaley) Engvalson, and Zachary Engvalson, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, April 3rd 1:00-2:00pm, Funeral at 2:00pm, Hodges Funeral Home 525 111th Avenue, North Naples. Burial will follow at Naples Memorial Gardens.
