Mrs. Ruth F. (Roberts) Ago, age 92, of Reading, formerly of Lynn, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Daniels House Nursing Home in Reading. She was the beloved wife of the late John E. Ago.
Ruth was born in Boston, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (McGaffee) Roberts and raised in Swampscott before moving to Lynn in 1954. She was employed with the Veterans Administration as an Administrative Assistant for over 37 years, retiring in 1975.
In addition to Ruth being an avid traveler, she was a loving and compassionate woman who always cared for the people around her.
She is survived by her son, Brian E. Ago and wife Patricia of Reading and daughter, Cheryl E. Walsh of Willmington. Also survived by grandchildren, Kim (Ago) Smith and husband David, Scott and Douglas Ago, Jonathan and Mitchell Walsh.
Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday at 9AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 17 Grove St. Lynnfield at 10AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours Monday from 5-8PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St. #501, Boston, MA 02210.

please except my condolences on the loss of your mom, Im sorry I never had the pleasure of meeting her but from Brian's stories I know she was a great woman. I'm sorry I could not make it to the wake. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
