Obituary

Ruth Baber passed peacefully June 15, 2010 after a brief illness. She was born August 18, 1927 to Joseph and Anna Neumann in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She lived in the Lake Tapps area for over 60 years. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Stan, four daughters, Linda Harwood (Greg), Sandy Roberts (Dean), Jackie Robertson (Dave), Debbie Van Hoy (Ron) and one son Craig Baber (Susan), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless friends. She loved activities with her family, playing bingo with family, shopping on QVC, reading, watching TV and the Mariners. She was the overall family manager and kept everyone together. A service...

A service will be held at Powers Funeral Home, 15124 Main St., Sumner, WA. on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at Petersen Brothers (Old Dieringer Gym), 2008 E. Valley Hwy, Sumner, WA. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank Good Samaritan Hospital for their outstanding care given to Ruth during her illness.
