It has been a few years since I have last touched the piano. But during all the years I have played the piano, Mrs. Enns made playing fun and I always had a great experience with her. Not only was she a wonderful teacher, but she gave me a lot of great advice and an ear to lend to me. I don't regret anything when it came to learning from Mrs. Enns. So while I am sad to hear of her departure, I also want to say how grateful I am that I got to make memories with her. Mrs. Enns was funny, wise, and an amazing teacher. Her smile brightened my day and her nicknames for her students were charming and warm. She shall be remembered very fondly.

Richard and family,
Grandma Music was very special to our family and will really be missed by many! She was so passionate for music and teaching children to love it also. Our kids were no exception. She loved our kids and it showed and our kids loved her so much also. She taught our kids to play piano, perform recitals properly, and both passionatly.
And most of all, she was one of the kindest people I have ever known. When I lost my job and my wife was a stay-at-home-Mom, she insisted that we not pay until we got back on our feet!
We all also loved how cute it was when she would yell for Richaaaaard to do something for her!!haha
Love and miss her and I am sure she is enjoying heaven in song!

Mrs. Enns taught me to love music, and at the same time was always the most joyful and loving piano teacher. My childhood would have been a lot less happy without her. She will be greatly missed.

Well, what can be said about Ruth Esther? She was a deeply caring, loving and fun individual. Her encouragement over the last 41 years has been priceless. My mother, sisters, children, and I took piano and voice from her for many years. She will be sorely missed for sure. Mrs. Enns, I will see you again sometime, and we will sing the duet we always wanted to sing...for eternity.

Mrs. Enns planted the love of music in me as soon as I started taking lessons from her in the third grade! Then when I needed a job she gave me one and helped to encourage my love of teaching. She was one of a kind whether she was telling me stories about her life or playing duets between different students she always tried to make me smile. She will truly be missed but I am so glad that I have all of the wonderful memories of her!

Mr.Enns, Eric, and Erin, and the extended family of Mrs.Enns....she will always be 'Mrs.Enns'.....started me on the path of music with piano lessons in 3rd grade, and was such a wonderful person...so many fond memories, especially of such things as a rather cramped piano recital in the house on Gow Street....loved her to pieces....I am sure you all have many memories of her to help you thru your loss.....our love and prayers to all of you...

I began taking piano lessons from Mrs. Enns when I was in high school after years of lessons with various other piano teachers over the years. Her love of music was contagious and influenced me in so many ways.I still think of her often, especially when I play various pieces of music I learned under her instruction. She will continue to live on through her many students as we attempt to emulate her teaching skills & style with students of our own. God bless you and your family, I know you will miss her.

Mrs. Enns was my piano teacher back in 1975. I studied under her for 7 years. She was so wonderful and fun. I will never forget her warm personality and genuine love for music and her students. She taught me so much, and now at age 45, I am a piano teacher myself. I owe so much to her and will never forget her. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you.
