Mrs. Craft was my teacher at Brentwood Elementary. In fact, she was my favorite teacher. She even attended my wedding. She expected nothing but the best out of her students and inspired a lifelong love of learning in all of us. She will be missed. I am grateful to have been one of her students.

I will miss Sadie. My family was among the first people the Crafts met when they came to Pensacola in the fifties.
The Cooks and the Crafts became the best of friends. Sadie and Lonnie and Hoyt and Willie all taught at Brentwood. They camped, traveled, went to church, and visited often. Sadie sat with Mother when Mother was sick. Sadie taught my daughter when she was in the third grade, and we had told her she couldn't say 'Aunt Sadie' at school!
Sadie was a wonderful person and friend.
