Obituary

Sally L. Carey, age 66, passed away May 6, 2012, in Spokane, WA. Sally was born on November 28, 1945, in Spokane, WA. She was the daughter of Howard and Verna (Cook) Sims. Sally was raised in the Newport area and was a 1965 graduate of Newport High School. Sally worked at the Spokane Veterans Hospital for over 18 years. She is survived by two sisters, Betty (Cliff) Drake of Spokane and Arlene (Darrel) Putney of Spokane Valley; two brothers, John (Chris) Sims of Missoula, MT, and Fred (SunCha) Sims of Mount Pleasant, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Sally will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012, at 1 PM at the Ridgeview Christian Center, 5610 N. Ash, Spokane, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to any Teen Challenge of Spokane. Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St., in charge of arrangements.
