Well, Sally, I'm one of your cousins and I didn't find out you had passed away until the other day (Jan 8, 2014). Wanda had written me a note and said
"isn't that terrible about Sally - and it happened so fast." I sent you a Christmas card - I think I had told you that Chuck had passed away last January. I was considering us widows getting together - we always had a good time together. I guess you are up there having a family reunion. Tell them all "Hi". Love you girl - sorry nobody let me know -

Mrs. Mabry was amazing and one of the best things about HH middle school. We all loved her so much. She was dear to the honey-bears, our very own school mom. Now she is in heaven helping run things up there. Lots of love to her family and friends!

So so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know that your mother had been ill and I know how hard that was for all of you. She was a precious lady who instantly put everyone at ease with her quick wit and warmth. My thoughts are with your family.

Dear Betsy, Jane and George,
I miss your mother already. She taught me way more than I ever taught our girls at Harpeth Hall. I love each one of you, and you are in my prayers.
