Salvitore (Toots) Bommarito Born August 4, 1925 in San Francisco, California to Domonic and Carmen Bommarito. Passed away April 14, 2012 in St. Helena, California. Toots moved to St. Helena at the age of 3 where his family became farmers. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Lynn (Jim), son Ron, and grandchildren Jimmy, Nichole, and Angela (Asa). He was preceded in death by his son Randy. Toots loved to hunt, garden, and operate farm equipment. He was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Union. Toots moved to St. Helena at the age of 3 where his family became farmers. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Lynn (Jim), son Ron, and grandchildren Jimmy, Nichole, and Angela (Asa). He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his many, many friends. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the St. Helena Catholic Church at 1340 Tainter Street in St. Helena. A rosary service will be held after the viewing at the church. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 10:00 am followed by the committal service at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
