Dear Sam, I've tried looking you up in the past and I came across this obituary. I saw people mentioning DJ and Peanut Man and saw people from Ga. so I know it's you. I always remembered you loving those Chevy's lol. Sam, you always gave me good advice. "Get married, save money and start a family." You were absolutely right. I wish I could of spoken to you one more time after leaving Celotex in 1990. For those who don't know, Sam and I worked together at Celotex in Pennsauken NJ. Sam was a VERY hard worker. We loaded many trucks together. Sam often told me about his son who died an untimely death in a horrible car accident. Hidden behind his funny jokes and stories, he carried that pain with him all the time. One can only hope they are together again. God Bless You Sam!

Uncle Sam, I have a lot of great memories of you both young and old. But the fondest thing that sticks out was when I was a little girl and I asked you for some peanuts, because I heard someone call you the peanut man and you replied "I don't have no peanuts neicey, I will tell you why they call me that when you get older. Till this day I still don't know. But I will miss you UNCLE but I know your in a better place.
