TO My Uncle Sam's family: I am sorry to hear of your loss. When I made contact with one of you around 2002, my marriage was winding down and the possibility of my meeting you compromised all too soon. Shortly after that I moved to San Antonio where I live today. I regret not making it out there.
Seems Uncle Samuel had that soft-spokenness quality in common with his siblings. I am glad to hear that he lived a full life surrounded by lots of family.

The world will be a more empty place without you. You were a perfect picture of a man who was a true gift to the world. I always saw you as a soft spoken, yet genuine and honest man and I have always considered you as a true roll model for how to be a good person. Your service to your country and your family are a true testament to the life you lived. I know that heaven is a better place now that you are there!

To all the LaVigne family, a wonderful, giving, caring man has been called to heaven. Sam was so nice to my family. He was a friend to my late Mother and kind in every way. He opened his home to my husband & I during the big ice storm. He accepted my son,Vicki's husband, John, as one of his own. He was generous and supportive to all who loved him. Thank the Lord for blessing us with Sam.
