I am sending my deepest sympathy to the family of Samuel. I was his professor at CSULA and I truly appreciated his passion for learning and the profession of nursing. I will always remember him as a kind, soulful and thoughtful man. His death is tragic!! The profession of nursing has lost a valuable member. Dr. K. Nielsen-Menicucci

To Sam: "Sam thank you for always giving me a hug when I needed it. Thank you for encouraging me to take guitar lessons by giving me your guitar--I did and still do. Thank you for a great time at the movies and for preparing a delicious dinner for me. I will always love you as my brother and friend. I will miss you and I have a candle lit for you this very moment."

To the Liaw Family: "I am saddened that Sam left us in his young age. However, this is only a transition. He has only stepped out of his physical form and his spirit lives on whole and perfect. As he moves about, my wish is for him to continue to receive our loving energy. He can always hear us. Let's tell him how much we will always love him.
