Sarah "Eunice" Anthony Cline, 91, of Columbus, left this world to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on August 5, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Cline was born September 11, 1925 in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of the late Henry L. Anthony and Julia Brown Anthony.
Funeral services will be held in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Columbus at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 with Pastor Buckhiester officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00pm. Burial will be in Patrick's Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia.
Mrs. Cline and her husband T.E., of 65 years, along with their children, managed numerous family businesses. She was a lifelong member of Midway United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church of Manchester. She was actively involved in WSCS and as a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Cline loved her grandchildren and family; her grandchildren were especially fortunate to have a loving grandmother who enjoyed their visits and enjoyed each and every one of them. Mrs. Cline lived the last ten years of her life in Columbus. Her family is comforted knowing she is now with our Heavenly Father.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T.E. Cline; grandsons, Thomas Cline, Adam Elshazley, William Bullard; and granddaughter, Tracey James.
She is survived by a son, Raymond Cline; daughters, Becky Carter (Danny), Nell Barker (Mike), all of Columbus; grandchildren, Kim Elshazley of Alaska, Whitney Johnson of Panama City Beach, FL, DeAnna Bullard, Ray Cline, Michael Barker (Christie), all of Columbus, and Kenneth Cline of Conyers, GA. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Know that you are loved.
