Even in death Sarah has introduced me to a wonderful new experience. She asked that folks consider a donation to the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, which I made. What a wonderful charity! I thank her for introducing me and each time I read their newsletter or emails I bless and miss her again. I intend to keep supporting them every year at this time so I never forget her joy of life. Even though she was my sister I'm closer to Brenda's age than Sarah's so she also left me friends. Bless her and her family!

Sarah was my older sister, her Mom was my "stepmother before I was born." She and I never lived under the same roof since she was married and started her family in another state when I was a child. But she was always my sister. I am now a true orphan---too old for that to mean anything but I still feel her loss profoundly. She was someone to be admired, to laugh with, to help me catch up with others in the Texas family, and to miss. But, bless her, she with her always steely determination to do it with love but her way. I love and miss you, Sarah!
