Sarah Allegro, 99, died at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce, FL on February 26, 2013.
Sarah was born in Carnegie, PA and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1990 coming from Coral Springs, FL.
Sarah was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St Lucie, FL. Her hobby was crocheting, and she has been crocheting since she was ten years old.
Survivors include her daughter, Catherine (James) Behanna of Port St Lucie, FL, two sons, Anthony (Roxanna) Allegro Jr. of Tucson, AZ, James Allegro of Carleton, MI, step-daughter, Mary Jane Ashmore of Washington, PA, sister, Frances Villers of Washington PA, brother, Tony Bongiovanni of Washington, PA, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Anthony Allegro, and step-son John Allegro.
A visitation will be held on Monday March 4th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Neal Funeral Home in Washington, PA. A service will be on Tuesday March 5th, at 10 AM also at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Washington, PA.
