Saks– Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Juanita "Nita" Kittrell, 79, of Saks, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Harper and Rev. Eugene Burgess officiating, with burial to follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kittrell passed Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Kittrell is survived by her husband, Leonard Wade "Duck" Kittrell; daughter, Rosemary (Daniel) Harper; grandchildren, Zachary Harper, Nicholas Harper, Mallory Kittrell, Jordan Kittrell, and Tara Kittrell;
Pallbearers will be Zachary Harper, Nicholas Harper, Jeff Key, Bobby Chandler, Charlie Chastain, and Eddie Wergin. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Haynes, Ken Tharington, and Rebecca Sunday school Class of Saks Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kittrell was native of Cadwell, Ga and a resident of Calhoun County for many years, retired from Fort McClellan after 30 years of service, was employed in Savannah, Ga and Marianna, Fl, member of Saks Baptist Church, active in the Rebecca Sunday School Class and a graduate of Cadwell High School and Anniston Business College.
Mrs. Kittrell was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Kittrell; parents, John and Mary Davidson; brothers, Jim and Roy Davidson.
