Cohen, Saul A., 93 of Miami Beach, FL, passed away on February 18, 2013 after a heroic battle with leukemia. Born to Gertrude and Irving Cohen in New York City, he was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 69 years, Roslyn Winston Cohen and his daughter Judy Cohen Beets.

After 6 months as a Corporal he enrolled in OCS and earned his 2nd Lt Commission. Following the end of WWII in 1945, he left the Air Corps as a Captain at which time he and Roslyn moved to Miami Beach and raised a family.
He was a long time hotelier and owned and operated numerous prominent hotels until his retirement – Di Lido, New Yorker, Poinciana, Ritz Plaza, Deauville, Shore Meade, Esplanade and many others. He also supported and was active in many organizations and was a Founder and Society Member of Mt. Sinai Medical Center Foundation.
