Sekxanh, 37, of Charlotte died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital after battling cancer for several months. Sekxanh was born May 8, 1975 in Laos, the first child of Thongphouth and Noi Chanthaboury. He immigrated with his family to the United States in 1980. Sekxanh completed his undergraduate and masters studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Sekxanh, 37, of Charlotte died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital after battling cancer for several months. Sekxanh was born May 8, 1975 in Laos, the first child of Thongphouth and Noi Chanthaboury. He immigrated with his family to the United States in 1980.
Sekxanh completed his undergraduate and masters studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Specializing in statistical data mining through the application of econometrics he settled into a career as a marketing data consultant for Wells Fargo. His colleagues, academia, and the corporate executives that employed him admired his unique approach to modeling.
When away from work those closest to him enjoyed his culinary expertise in their kitchen. Never without his rolling pin or knives, he was passionate about cooking and the intimate experience that came with enjoying the company of family and friends over a good meal.
Sekxanh also found great fulfillment spending time with his nephews and niece. Damon, Morgan, and Madden are the sons and daughter of his younger sister Vanapha and her husband Anonh Nitsavong.
Visitation and Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service 4601 Freedom Drive Charlotte NC 28208. Visitation will be held Friday, August 3rd from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 4th at 2:00 pm.
