Severo Reboluta Bisarra Sr. passed away peacefully at St. Joseph' Medical Center surrounded by family on Sunday, November 27, 2016. He succumbed to heart failure just 2 weeks after celebrating his 100th birthday. The Lord blessed him with a long life full of love.
Severo was born and raised in a small town of Alcala, in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines and became a farmer. In 1977, an opportunity presented itself and he migrated to the United States where he settled in Stockton, California and continued to raise his family as a Farmer and a Custodian. Severo's devotion to his family and his strong work ethic was a constant throughout his life. He was a devout Catholic and he enjoyed spending time and caring for his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He especially loved gardening, carpentry, and keeping up with current events.
Severo was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Veronica Fiesta Bisarra; his son, Alfredo Bisarra; his daughter, Teresita (husband, Rodolfo Sr.) Acapuyan; and his grandson, Roderick Blanco.
While the loss of our beloved Severo leaves a hole in the lives of all who loved him, Severo's life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his two daughters: Cresencia (husband, Rudy Sr.) Blanco, Racely (husband, Satur Sr.) Leones and three sons: Esmerlo (wife, Aurora) Bisarra, Godofredo (wife, Marilou) Bisarra, and Severo (wife, Merlyn) Bisarra, Jr. He is also the cherished grandfather to 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
