Seymour Leon Muskovitz, 81, beloved husband of 55 years to Rosalyn Bloomfield Muskovitz, father of five - Lee (Cindy), Susannah (Steven Izen), David (Natalie Shein), Benjamin and Joshua (Marley Mills), grandfather of 12 - Jared, Sarah, Seth, Leo, Todd, Graham, Sarah, Jake, Sam, Min Joo, Eli and Toby, passed away peacefully on May 31st.  Seymour graduated from the University of Michigan in 1952 and joined his father as a licensed master plumber in the Benjamin Muskovitz Company in Detroit, after serving as a First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force during the Korean war. As a father of 5, he graduated with honors from Wayne State University Law School in 1972 at the age of 41 and spent his legal career at the McCrosky Law Firm in Muskegon representing injured and disabled workers until his retirement at age 78.  Even when working as a lawyer, Seymour maintained his license as a master plumber and remained a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local 154 in Muskegon, Michigan.   Seymour was a lifetime member of the NAACP, a long-time member of the ACLU and the Masons of Michigan and an emeritus member of the State Bar of Michigan.  A lover of jazz and good wine, a recognized photographer, Seymour traveled the world with his wife and best friend Roz throughout his life.  On the day before he died, he said that he had no regrets and that if he had to do it all over again, he would not have changed a thing.  A memorial service will be held on July 29th at Congregation B'Nai Israel in Muskegon.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Seymour's honor to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or Congregation B'Nai Israel in Muskegon, Michigan.
