Shanna,
We will always be BFF's. Your love, warm hugs, gentle spirit, laugh, and beautiful smile touched the life of hundreds of people including mine. Tim, Tyler and Travis, you know she was my sister and part of the family just as you all are a part of my family and will always be. I am but a phone call away and I will come running. Shanna is now in Paradise. God is taking, better care of her than we ever could. She is with her mom and mine. Jesus went a long time ago to prepare a place for her in Heaven as He did for us all (John 14:2). It doesnt get any better than,to be in Paradise with God . We shall miss her every day. My peace comes in knowing we will be together again in Paradise. We will walk this out together with God taking the lead. We shall cry, laugh and remember all the wonderful times we have had together. I am so greatful and blessed to have had her in my life for 28 years. I love you all dearly. Dawny

She touched many, many lives through her work at MDAnderson and by being a patient. She befriended others going through it at the same time and became their "coach." God bless her and those who will miss her.

Dear Tim and "the boys",

My heart was really saddened when I heard of Shannas' untimely passing. She was such an inspiration to many and a pure delight to have around. There was never an obstacle that she did not attempt to conquer with such a "can do" attitude. There are no words to minimize the pain this loss has but know that the memories she created as a wife and mother as well as a friend to her MD Anderson family will remain etched in the hearts and mind of those she meant so much too. Sincerely yours,
