Bode, Sharon K., 66, of Dayton, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at Miami Valley Hospital. She is preceded in death by her son Troy L. Hill. Survived by her husband Dave Bode of Dayton; sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Rosie Riggs, Monte and Barbie Riggs all of Sweet Home, Oregon; daughters and sons-in-law Windy R. Hill of Dayton, Rammee and Lawrence Fuller of Dayton, Leona and Chris Sachen of Dayton, Jerralynn and Ryan Roussel of Springboro; brothers and sisters-in-law Tom and Francine Scates of California, Charles and Marilyn Scates of California, Snooks and Lou Scates of Texas; 23 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Sharon was an avid gardner and was well known for her beautiful ceramics. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. Interment Valley View Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Wednesday. Contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in her memory. Online condolences may be sent to www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
