Sharon Spivey Edmonson, 64, of San Angelo, Texas entered the gates of heaven to join her daughter and her father after a hard and painstaking battle with heart disease, on April 26, 2014 at St David's Hospital in Austin, Texas.

Sharon will be buried beside her daughter in a graveside ceremony on May 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm in Leander, Texas at Bagdad Cemetery with Donna Mayfield as the Celebrant.

Sharon began her journey through life as the oldest daughter from the union of Arlie Spivey and Sophie Englert in San Angelo, Texas, on October 15, 1949. She married Duane Edmonson on March 13, 1976. She was blessed with three daughters, Amy Fonk, Crystal Dawn and Candice DeAnn. She will be remembered for the concern and consideration she had for others. She was known to place the wellbeing and needs of others before herself. Sharon graduated from Central in 1967, and attended American Business College. She had 4 major career choices within her life; wife and mother, San Angelo Center, GTE, and BC/BS. Upon retirement she returned to San Angelo, her birthplace, and joined in the operation of Yellow/Checker Cab Co. Her greatest joy and accomplishments were from her family life, wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Cristi Edmonson and father Arlie Spivey, and in-laws Robert and Betty Galyon, who will be there to welcome her into heaven. Sharon is survived by her husband, Duane Edmonson; daughters, Amy Fonk, and Candi Woodall; mother, Sophie Spivey; sisters, Arlene Sisson and husband Duane, and Brenda McWilliams. Sharon also leaves behind to remember her life her grandchildren: Alexis, Jordan, Ryan and Riley Woodall. She is also survived by extended family members and friends that cherish the memories of knowing her through their life.
