Easley – Shelby Jean Bagwell Mealor, 77, wife of Verlon T. Mealor, went home to be with her Lord on Monday June 12, 2017.
Shelby was born in Pickens, daughter of the late James Clyde and Melonee Clark Bagwell. She was retired from Wagner Systems in Greenville and was a member of Glassy Mountain View Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Verlon T. Mealor, daughters Cathy Ann Vines (Ronald) of Greenville and Linda Jean Harrison (Brian) of Greer, step daughters Teri Garrett (Roger) and Tami Looper (Keith) all of Liberty and Tonya Perritt (Jim) of Manning, SC, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Shelby was preceded in death by her son, William Gregory Chappell and brother, James Hoyt Bagwell.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Dillard Funeral Home from 2 to 3:15 PM and funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:30 PM. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
